Losing the Nobel Prize: A Story of Cosmology, Ambition, and the Perils of Science’s Highest Honor (W. W. Norton, 2018) is a first-person account of the BICEP2 episode and an argument about how the Nobel Prize distorts the practice of science. Into the Impossible: Think Like a Nobel Prize Winner collects lessons from conversations with laureates about how discoveries actually happen.
